Should i Buy, or shouldn't I?

So im 19, and i live at home,and go to a community college, and i also work, i have 5000 saved up, and i want to buy drumset and its on sale for 500, ive been playin since i was 10, and i feel that its time to buy a new nice kit, at first i really wanted it, but now that i think about it, in two years, ill be at a university, and i wont be able to play it that much, only when i come up to visit and over the summer, and im afraid my skills will go to the dump when im at college, and even after that, i wont buy a house until im married, and till then i might have an apartment, and they wont allow me to play drums there, so im thinkn that i might be wasting my money, and also, the only alternative,is when i move out then, just come "home" to play my kit, but idk if im going to live near my hometown, so idk wat to do, any suggestions
