Stop inflamation in my Cartalige!!!!!?

HELP! my cartilege is inflamed bc of the piercing, not only is my ear the szie of mothing fcking TEXAS and pink (no it is not infected, my school nurse and the piercing artists said it was perfecly clean, amd i do not need to remove the earing) it is just huge because of "inflammation" i want to know how i can reduce it and mke the pain stop, its hurts like a mo fo but not the earing whole itself, more like around it, but obvs if you kit the earing it hurts but thats normal apparently, but for the rest should i use heat or cold to reduce it!? i heard heat for joints and bones and cold for injury but idk what this is? ahha PLEASE IT IS KILLING ME I WANT IT TO STOP LOL!!!
