In school my nail got cut off.?

Today, I was cooking in school and I was making apple crumble, as I was peeling the apples with the peelers, the teacher told us to hurry up because we didn't have much time left, so I quickly tried to peel the apple. I peeled it too fast and it went over a semi-circle of my nail and then my nail bled so the teacher put a plaster over it. What i'm wondering is, how long will it take for my nail to grow back?
