Is it normal for skin to burn/sting after using Acne Free?

I bought Acne Free about a week ago, and its been working great. But it has started to sting after a using. It was ignorable at first, but now it REALLY stings. Also, after I take a shower, my skin peels. Is this normal? Or am I allergic to Benzoyll peroxide? If I'm allergic, do you have any reccomindations for any other products that work without Benzoll Peroxide?
