I seem to have lost my virtual pro on fifa 11 can anyone help? (xbox 360)?

the only way i can access my virtual pro is to load up my career game, i cant find it anywhere else on the entire game? i want to be able to edit my pro and put extra bits of kit and new boots on him and also change his position but i just simply do not have the option, my friend said he starts up the game loads hospitality settings as normal and signs into xbox and xbox live as usual then goes down to virtual pro and it takes him to the next screen which says edit pro! i do not get this option mine takes me to the screen where you create a new pro with guidance from clive tildsly can anyone help i fear its lost or corrupted???
