A LOT of peeling skin? What should I do?

Ok, I walked quite a bit in heeled shoes the other day, my feet felt very sore and had pins and needles, when I got home I looked at my right foot and it had a watery lump on it which i thought was a blister. I waited a day, and the swelling had gone down but there was a huge thick bit of white skin. I ripped the skin off and now, although it's not bleeding, its sore and it's like a shallow hole on the ball of my foot. what should i do?
