Guitar question here!!! Need help!?

Ok so I just started playing the guitar like 3 months ago and I wanna know what is a spandex chord is? Is it like a regular guitar chord like D minor or A minor I need help becuz Im trying to learn "My Chemical Romances song Demilition Lover" from a youtube guy and he sayes to use a spandex chord and the tabs I got dont sound right when i play it! So could anybody shed some light on what is a "Spandex Chord" please could you explain how it looks or is it just a regular guitar chord? but I dont know what that is could any of you please help me!
